Sven Rieckmann on stage at the Professional Printing Innovation Days

Why is now the time for brands to demonstrate proximity to customers through design – and what role can print media play? Executive creative director Sven Rieckmann will speak on the subject at the Professional Printing Innovation Days hosted by Konica Minolta on 29, and 30 October in Langenhagen.

 

“Print always works” is the motto of this year's Professional Printing Innovation Days, hosted by Konica Minolta and the WE.LOVE.PRINT initiative of the German Media Production Association. On 29 and 30 October, at the Konica Minolta headquarters in Langenhagen, experts from the fields of production and communication will discuss the significance of print media in an era when communication channels and life models are undergoing fundamental changes.
 

Among the speakers: Sven Rieckmann, executive creative director at Peter Schmidt Group – one of Europe's most successful brand and design agencies – which since 1972 has stood for outstanding print media applications from packaging to editorial design, for mass market consumption or as high-quality collectors' items.

Sven Rieckmann: “In an increasingly digital environment characterized by sensory overload, print has a pioneering role to play as a conscious and multisensory experience with a deeper impact. In the right interplay with other channels, print can help brands establish much closer emotional bonds with their target groups.” He will explain exactly how in his keynote speech “Print reloaded”, starting at 2:20 p.m. on both days of the event.
